Everything you manage at SmartXHosting happens in the Customer Dashboard — new orders, renewals, invoices, domain management, support tickets, DNS records, and email accounts all live behind a single sign-in. This guide walks new UK customers through the first-time registration, email verification, and subsequent sign-in flow at smartxhosting.uk/login. It also covers the password-reset path, troubleshooting common login issues, and the security practices you should put in place from day one.
Before you start • Step 1 — Reach the login screen • Step 2 — Create a new account • Step 3 — Fill in the registration form • Step 4 — Verify your email address • Step 5 — Sign in • Password reset • Troubleshooting common login issues • Account security best practices • FAQ
To register a Customer Dashboard account you need three things: a working email address you control (used for account verification and every future security-sensitive action), a secure place to store your password (a password manager is strongly recommended), and your UK billing address (VAT-registered businesses should have the company name and VAT number to hand). Registration takes under three minutes and can be completed on desktop or mobile.
Open smartxhosting.uk in your browser and click the Login button in the top-right of the navigation menu. You can also jump directly to smartxhosting.uk/login.

On the login screen, click the Create a New Account link beneath the password field. This takes you to the registration form.

The registration form requests the details SmartXHosting needs to issue invoices and keep your account admin current. Fill in every required field and click Register when done.

Fields to complete:
Create a strong password and keep it safe. You will use it for every future sign-in, and resetting it triggers an email round-trip that can slow down urgent work.
Immediately after registration, SmartXHosting sends a verification email to the address you provided. Open the email (check your spam folder if it doesn’t arrive within two minutes) and click the verification link.
The link expires after 24 hours. If it expires before you click, return to smartxhosting.uk/login and request a new verification email from the support team.
Verification confirms that the email address works and that you are the account owner. Until verification is complete, you cannot sign in.
Once your email is verified, return to smartxhosting.uk/login, enter your email and password, and click Login. The Customer Dashboard opens on the main page with the overview of your services, invoices, domains and support tickets.
On first sign-in, take a few minutes to:
If you forget your password, return to smartxhosting.uk/login and click the Forgot Password? link. Enter your registered email and SmartXHosting sends a password-reset email containing a time-limited link. Click the link, set a new strong password, and sign in.
Reset links expire after one hour for security. If the email doesn’t arrive:
Your Customer Dashboard controls billing, domain management and technical access to your services. Protect it as carefully as you would a business bank login.

Go to the Customer DashboardQ: Can I use the same email address for multiple SmartXHosting accounts?
A: No. Each account requires a unique email address. If you need separate accounts for personal and business use, register them under different addresses.
Q: How do I change the email address on my account?
A: Sign in to the Customer Dashboard, go to Dashboard › Update Personal Data and edit the email field. You may be asked to verify the new address before the change takes effect.
Q: What happens if I lose access to the registered email?
A: Contact SmartXHosting support from any address you can prove you control, including identity verification details (order reference, invoice number, registered phone). The UK-based support team can update the registered email after verifying your identity.
Q: Is two-factor authentication available?
A: Contact SmartXHosting support to enable 2FA if it’s available on your account tier. Given the account manages billing and domain settings, 2FA is strongly recommended.
Q: Why do I need to verify my email?
A: Email verification confirms you control the address. Since SmartXHosting sends renewal notices, security alerts and invoices to this address, verification prevents typo-registrations and unauthorised signups.
Q: How long do I have to click the verification link?
A: 24 hours. After that, request a new verification email from the login screen.
Q: Can multiple people access the same account?
A: Yes — use the Contacts feature on the Dashboard to grant additional users specific permissions (billing-only, support-only, or full access). This is safer than sharing a single password.
Q: What should I do if I suspect someone else has signed into my account?
A: Change your password immediately via the password reset flow, check recent invoices for unauthorised orders, and contact SmartXHosting support. The UK team can investigate sign-in logs.
